Heather Urie, DNP, FNP-C

Heather Urie is a Family Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified with the ANCC since 2009. She began her career as a Registered Nurse at the University of Pennsylvania in 2002 after earning her Bachelors in Nursing at La Salle University. She later earned her Master’s Degree at Drexel University in Philadelphia graduating in 2009. In 2018 She completed her degrees with a Doctorate in Nursing from George Washington University. She has spent much of her career as a Family Nurse Practitioner working in community health in Philadelphia and South Carolina. Her focus has been on primary care, disease prevention, health equity and heath promotion. She earned the Provider of the Year Award in 2018 from the South Carolina Primary Health Care Association. Heather is the National Clinical Director of Grants with a focus on HIV Prevention and STI prevention services.
