Job Duties: Maintain an infectious disease-based practice and perform duties customarily performed within the infectious disease specialty in private practice, including supervision of office staff. Duties: respond to patients’ medical issues; order radiology and laboratory tests and refer patients to specialists; analyze reports, examinations, and test results to accurately diagnose patients, as well as present treatment options; discuss and explain treatments and medication thoroughly with patients; follow all practice policies and procedures; keep up-to-date with medical procedures, developments, treatments, and available medication.
Minimum Requirements: M.D. degree (U.S. degree or foreign degree plus ECMFG certificate). Licensure to practice medicine in the State of Nevada. Internal medicine board certified and infectious disease board certified by American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
Work conditions: Full time, 40 hours per week
