About Paige Lewless (Starting August 2024)

Paige worked in critical care at a local hospital since graduating nursing school at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. After graduating from the University of South Alabama as a nurse practitioner, she began working with both veterans and geriatric patients. After working in the hospital for many years alongside nephrology providers, she developed a passion for renal pathophysiology and chose to then transition to this specialty as a nurse practitioner. During her several years in nephrology, Paige took a special interest in the more complex autoimmune patient conditions that adversely affected the kidneys and other organs of the body. Her fascination with these inflammatory conditions fostered her transition into rheumatology to focus on the management of these autoimmune disease processes. Paige received her doctoral degree from the University of South Alabama and volunteers as a student mentor. She also serves as an instructor of nursing and CPR working alongside both nursing and medical students.

Paige is passionate about education and community health. In managing medical conditions, she also believes that care should encompass other physical, mental, or emotional components for the best possible outcomes. It is her hope for patients to gain a better understanding of their conditions to best assist with reaching their personal health goals.

Originally from Michigan, Paige moved to Las Vegas with her family at a young age. She was raised around sports and culinary arts. She volunteers with local animal rescues, Las Vegas Rescue Mission, and Remote Area Medical.

Member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Nevada Advanced Practice Nurses Association, Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association, American College of Rheumatology, Renal Physicians Association, and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
